Malaysian Army Inspector General Major General Dr Kwong Fook Wen Calls on COA

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 May 2021 - The Chief of Army (COA), General Tan Sri Datuk Zamrose bin Mohd Zain has received a Retirement Courtesy Call from the Inspector General of the Army (IJ TD), Major General Dr Kwong Fook Wen at the Office of the Chief of Army,  Wisma Pertahanan.

Major General Dr Kwong Fook Wen will end his service in December 2021 after serving in the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) for more than 40 years.

Throughout his service, Major General Dr Kwong Fook Wen has held various important positions in the Malaysian Army, including as Commanding Officer, First Regiment of the Royal Armor Corps (1 Armor) and Staff Officer 1 Q/Tek, Army Headquarters  - Armor Direction Department.  While at the MAF level, he previously served as a Director at the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) and he also served as a trainer at the Australian Command and Staff College, Australia.  
Apart from that, he also held a high profile position as Director of Innovation/Deputy Inspector General of the Army, Army Inspectorate Division (BITD) and now holds the position of Inspector General of the Army before starting retirement leave.

The Army and its personnel wish him a Happy Retirement and Farewell to Major General Dr Kwong Fook Wen.
