Army Chief Discusses Latest Issues with Formation Commanders via Video Conferencing

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 May 2021-A virtual discussion session between the Chief of Army (COA), General Tan Sri Datuk Zamrose bin Mohd Zain with the Formation Commanders was held at the Army Operations Center (POTD).

The session, which was conducted through a Video Conference, was a forum for discussion between the Top Leadership and the Commanders of the Malaysian Army Formations.  In this session, various current issues related to internal and foreign affairs were discussed, including the assignment and mobilization of Malaysian Army in the Movement Control Order (MCO) as well as humanitarian issues in Palestine.
Such activities are in line with the Second Pillar of COA's Great Commandment, namely "Organisational Integrity", which emphasises unity and togetherness.  It is implemented in compliance with strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 outbreaks.

Participating in this session were the Deputy Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Dato' Mohammad bin Ab Rahman, Army Chief of Staff, Major General Dato' Hj Subari bin Hj Tomo, as well as the minimal involvement of Senior Officers from the Army Headquarters.
