26 Feb 2021 - Chief of Air Force Gen Tan Sri Ackbal bin Hj Abdul Samad RMAF leads the list of vaccine recipients for the RMAF in conjunction with the COVID-19 Immunization Program of the Ministry of Defence and the Malaysian Armed Forces which was conducted at the Tuanku Mizan Armed Forces Hospital today.

The RMAF Top Leaders who also received the vaccination for COVID-19 immunization today are the Deputy Chief of Air Force, Lt Gen Dato' Mohd Asghar Khan bin Goriman Khan RMAF, Air Operations Commander, Lt Gen Dato' Hj Mohammad Salleh bin Hj Osman RMAF, Air Support Commander, Lt Gen Dato' Muhamad Norazlan bin Aris RMAF and Air Education and Training Commander, Maj Gen Mohd Shahada bin Ismail RMAF.

In addition, the first stage of the vaccination also involves RMAF personnel who are identified to be given priority, especially involving frontline personnel. The MAF received the first batch of COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, 22 Feb 2021 after Malaysia received the first Phase 1 delivery of COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech on Sunday, 21 Feb 2021 recently.

Hopefully with this vaccine, it will have a big impact on the government's efforts in controlling the spread of COVID-19 infection. Protect Yourself, Protect All.
