10 RMAF Pilots Completed Fighter Lead In Training Course in Canada


KUALA LUMPUR, 30 April 2021 - A total of 10 RMAF officers sent to undergo the Second Series Fighter Lead In Training (FLIT) Course at the International Test Pilots School (ITPS) Ontario, Canada on 14 Sep 2020 have successfully completed this course.

The course, which lasted for almost seven months, was to train pilots using the L-39C Albatros aircraft as a training platform that provides skills and knowledge to become a competent fighter pilot.

Prior to this, a total of 8 RMAF officers had successfully completed the FLIT course in the first series last year. This recognition was given to them in a graduation ceremony that was held in Canada today and Lt Mohd Hazim bin Mohd Tajuddin RMAF was selected as the Best Overall Course Student.

These sweet moments were also witnessed by RMAF Air Region 1 Commander, Maj Gen Dato' Zahani bin Hj. Zainal Abidin RMAF and family members of the course trainees virtually through video conferencing. 



RMAF congratulates all course participants and they will share their knowledge and skills as well as share experiences towards excellence and empowerment of RMAF.
