10 Brigade (Para) Conducts Combat Free Fall Exercise
TERENGGANU: A total of seven officers and 14 other ranks from the 10 Brigade (10 Bgd) (Para) Reconnaissance Company were involved in the Combat Free Fall Exercise led by 10 Bgd (Para) Commander, Brig Gen Khairul Azmizal Ahmad Natal in the Drop Zone (DZ) NANGKA on 4 March 2021.
The exercise, conducted on a stand-off and on-target basis from an altitude of 10,000 feet, aims to further sharpen infiltration skills to secure DZ and other specific assignments behind enemy lines.
In addition, this exercise is also to ensure the level of readiness and capability 10 Bgd (Para) Recce Company.
Such training is necessary in improving Para Readiness as well as improving the freefall skills of 10 Bgd (Para) as a Rapid Deployment Team (RDT) and always ready to be deployed in various operational dimensions.
This exercise was conducted with the help of a C130 H aircraft from 20 Sqn RMAF, Subang Air Base.
In addition, this exercise is also part of the preparation for the GERAK PANTAS 10 Bgd (Para) Exercise.
